Session 1: Flexion & Extension of the Spine

Anatomy: Overall Spine, parts of a vertebra, features of lumbar, thoracic and cervical vertebra including facet joints and spinous processes.

Improve flexibility, and ease of movement (reduce tension and pain) by exploring the biomechanics of the spine. Understand the shape of the spine, its different joints and the way it moves in forward and backward bends. Embody other spinal structures like discs, and learn how to keep them healthy through movement and imagery. Get a toolkit for improving posture and back pain and feeling better in everything you do.
